Locating Customer Data for GDPR’s ‘Right to be Forgotten’

The EU’s GDPR legislation goes into effect exactly a year from today. On May 25, 2018 European citizens will have the “Right to be Forgotten” and can request to have any stored Personal Identifiable Information (PII) deleted from any organization’s archives.

The General Data Protection Act is a universally acknowledged game changer, but perhaps the most pressing challenge for many organizations is finding the data they may be required to destroy post-GDPR.
